It has now been confirmed that the story involves singer Brooke Josephson, who announced her divorce from her husband, film producer Barry Josephson, after his name appeared in the so-called “Epstein files.” The documents reveal repeated communication between the producer and the disgraced financier.
Files released by the Department of Justice include emails in which the producer used crude and disturbing language about women, as well as discussions involving money and casting. In one exchange, he even suggested that Epstein stop by his office during auditions for a television project.
Shortly after the documents became public, the singer shared news of the divorce on social media, emphasizing that she had been unaware of the nature of her husband’s relationship with Epstein throughout their marriage. The couple shares two children, and court records indicate they had already been living separately since late 2024.
The producer has since issued statements acknowledging that his emails were inappropriate and shameful. He claims he was unaware of Epstein’s crimes at the time and says he deeply regrets believing Epstein’s denials.
