32-year-old Grammy-winning singer Tori Kelly has officially confirmed that she’s expecting her first child with her husband, basketball player Andre Murillo. In a statement to People, she shared: “This year has already been full of highs — performing in stadiums all summer, writing the most personal songs of my career, and now starting a family with my amazing husband.”
This announcement feels even more meaningful in light of her recent battle for her life. In July 2023, Tori was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. During those terrifying days, Andre became her rock — in life and in prayer. “Fear gripped me hard,” he wrote at the time, “but God is bigger than my fears.”
Tori, who first gained attention on American Idol, has come a long way — from hospital recovery to touring with Ed Sheeran. And now, she’s about to embark on her most important debut yet — motherhood.
