Beverly ran to Alexa as if she were her mother.
Martha raced home, stunned. She walked in to find Cheryl, Alexa, and Beverly together like a happy family.
“What is she doing here?” Martha demanded.
Cheryl smirked and said Martha was never supposed to be in the picture. She called her a mistake and claimed Alexa was the one who truly belonged with Jason — and with Beverly.
“You manipulated my daughter!” Martha yelled. “You made her feel like I didn’t matter!”
Martha grabbed Beverly and left, vowing no one would take her daughter from her — not Cheryl, not Alexa, not even Jason if he wasn’t on her side.
Later, Martha showed Jason the footage. He was horrified and immediately sided with her, cutting Cheryl off completely.
Beverly now knows: they stay away from people who lie and try to hurt their family.
Some people don’t deserve second chances — or to be called family.
