Diane Keaton Shared Heartbreaking Final Post Before Her Death

Diane Keaton’s tragic final post has been revealed, after it was announced that the Hollywood star died on Saturday (October 11).

The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that Keaton passed away on Saturday (October 11), having transported the 79-year-old to a local hospital.

The statement read: “There are no further details available at this time, and her family has asked for privacy in this moment of great sadness.”

While an official cause of death has not been confirmed, close friends of the star have noted that she ‘declined very suddenly.’

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Keaton’s longtime friend, Carole Bayer Sager, said: “I saw her two or three weeks ago, and she was very thin.

“She had lost so much weight.”

The songwriter noted that Keaton had been affected by the wildfires that caused devastation across Los Angeles in January.

Sager added: “She had to go to Palm Springs because her house has been damaged inside and they had to clean everything.

“She was down there for a while, and when she came back, I was kind of stunned by how much weight she’d lost.”

Another insider said: “It was so unexpected, especially for someone with such strength and spirit.

“In her final months, she was surrounded only by her closest family, who chose to keep things very private.

“Even longtime friends weren’t fully aware of what was happening.”

In the wake of Keaton tragic death, her heartbreaking final post has been revealed.

The actress posted a picture of herself with her golden retriever in honor of National Pet Day on April 7.

In the comments of the post, fans have shared just how enormous the loss feels.

“Lost one of the greatest actors and lights of this world today,” a second wrote.
