The White House has issued a list of EU countries that have now been banned from America, following tensions between the two over the President’s proposal to annex Greenland.
It’s safe to say that tensions within the US are currently at an all-time high.
Between Trump‘s threats to invade Greenland against the will of NATO, potentially breaking alliances that date back several decades, to sending ICE agents into numerous states, people are extremely apprehensive.
The European and nearby countries that are included in the immigrant visa processing pause are:
– Albania
– Belarus
– Bosnia and Herzegovina
– Kosovo
– Moldova
– Montenegro
Critics of the policy have raised concerns over the impact it will have on families and legal immigration routes, while supporters argue these steps are necessary to secure the future safety of America.
