Landing Turned Into a Tragedy: Plane Operated by a Well-Known Company Crashes, Leaving Many Dead and Injured

What was supposed to be an ordinary landing and the routine end of another flight turned into a major emergency within seconds. A Boeing 767-300 cargo aircraft was unable to stop after touching down, overran the runway, and crashed into several vehicles. Almost immediately after the impact, a massive fire broke out, sending thick black smoke rising over the airport area.

Eyewitnesses captured the aftermath on their phones. The footage shows the aircraft engulfed in flames as emergency crews rushed to the scene. Rescuers had to work on several fronts at once: fighting the fire, pulling people from damaged vehicles, and trying to reach the crew members who were trapped inside the cockpit after the crash.

The scale of the incident was so serious that operations at the airport were effectively brought to a halt. Runways and taxiways were temporarily closed, while dozens of flights were delayed or canceled. Dozens of fire and rescue units were dispatched to the scene, involving around two hundred emergency personnel.
