“It is with deep sadness and pain that I am forced to announce that my beautiful sister, the sunshine of our lives, who brought us so much joy with her laughter, positive attitude, drive and energy, has left us forever. Please, I beg you all, give us time for the sake of our children. We have recently buried our father and now our sister, and we need time to recover,” the singer’s family wrote.
The couple’s children, who are 4, 10, and 14 years old, are now being looked after by relatives who have urgently arrived in Turkey.
Victoria was born in South Africa but moved to the Czech Republic with her family when she was 14. She first became famous for her 2006 debut album, Killing Me Softly.
