Bratty Kid Kicks Their Airplane Seat So He Teaches His Family A Lesson

Flying is convenient, but not always smooth—especially when dealing with an unruly child on board. That’s what happened to a 14-year-old girl and her dad during a night flight from India.

They were on a small budget airline with tight seating. Behind them sat a family of three, including a 9 or 10-year-old boy who began kicking the girl’s seat shortly after takeoff. Her dad politely asked him to stop, which worked—for about 10 seconds.

After repeated requests with no success, the dad decided to take action. He reclined his seat fully, irritating the boy’s mother behind him. The family called a flight attendant.
