Social media users slammed Trump’s attire as disrespectful. Comments described him as a “disgrace” and “tone deaf” for not following funeral protocol.
Trump also faced criticism for remarks made before leaving Washington, where he praised Pope Francis but shifted focus to discussing trade deals and political matters, saying he hoped to meet many foreign leaders during the trip.
