Accidentally captured a ghost wolf while goofing around in the PNW forest at night

This happened in January this year, I was working a seasonal job at a mountain in Washington state, about 2 hours away from that town Forks, yes, the one from Twilight.

We were a big crew and it was snow season so about 100 of us were living in a nice cozy homestead looking employee housing complex located about 15 minute drive from the workplace, I was always very into paranormal and cryptid stuff, mythology and folklore and all that so I was very excited about the forests in America, I used to take 4 hour long solo walks deep in the forest, somehow managed to not get myself eaten by cougars or bears, I noticed how some parts of the forest were peaceful and had a tranquil aura, like fairy stuff, however, some other parts bore an eerie dark aura, inviting you to leave, just the sheer feeling that you shouldn’t be there, anyways, there was this night I couldn’t sleep so I went out for a little while, it was super cold and I decided I’d prop my phone on some ladder and take pictures of myself from behind a tree as if I was some sort of being watching you from the treeline, it wasn’t even that deep into the forest it was just outside the porch, I got that feeling all of a sudden that I was tempting nature, teasing my luck or something, just felt like I should go back inside soon.

After I posted those pictures on da gram because I thought the final product was even scarier than I intended, to the point that my own image all blurried up and pale there scared the shit out of me when I saw the result, some friends immediately pointed out and asked what was that next to me, I didn’t even notice it, it looked like an angry looking wolf, obviously I’d had known if there was a dangerous predator next to me, there wasn’t, I applied an instagram filter that made it easier to see, what do you think?
