Shocking Confession in the “Train Knifeman” Case: He Believes the Government Implanted a Chip in His Brain

New details in the North Carolina train stabbing case have stunned even seasoned investigators. The suspect, 35-year-old Decarlos Brown—already dubbed by the media as the “train knifeman”—made a startling statement during a phone call from jail with his sister.

In a recording published by the Daily Mail, Brown claimed the attack was driven by an “external force” that allegedly controlled his brain. He insisted that the government had implanted “materials” into his head that dictated his actions, describing the stabbing as “scary and confusing.”

What drew even more attention were his words about the victim. Brown said he had never met the young Ukrainian refugee, had no issues with her, and had never spoken to her. Yet in the moment of the attack, he was convinced she was “reading his thoughts” and was part of a conspiracy connected to a microchip. That, he said, was why he targeted her.

Authorities fear the suspect may try to plead insanity in an attempt to avoid the harshest punishment. Prosecutors are already preparing for a tough legal battle, as public concern grows that if he succeeds, Brown could walk free within just a few years.

Meanwhile, the victim’s family and the public are demanding justice, with the case sparking outrage not only in the U.S. but also in Ukraine, where the young woman had come from.
