Former UFC champion Conor McGregor reacted to the killing of Ukrainian woman Iryna Zarutska in the U.S. subway.
“I can’t get the images going around out of my head—of an innocent, helpless Ukrainian woman on public transport.
Brutally murdered from behind. For no reason. I wish her killer the worst; I’m not ashamed and I don’t regret saying that.
He deserves the worst. Glory to Ukraine. May Iryna Zarutska rest in peace.
If you think that during my term as president something like this could happen on Irish soil without consequences—think again.
Use your head and think again.
Any ‘optics’ or political wordplay means nothing to me in such a case. Keep that to yourself. Vote for Conor,” McGregor wrote.
