She suffered severe trauma to her head and body and was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai West Hospital.
The driver, a 61-year-old man operating a 2023 Cadillac XT6, remained at the scene and was not injured. As of now, no charges have been filed. Investigators from the NYPD Highway District Collision Investigation Squad continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
