Gwinnett pregnant teen found dead off side of road, ex-boyfriend charged with lying to police

Gwinnett County police are investigating after a pregnant 16-year-old was found dead on Monday.

At around 1 a.m., officers were called to the 3600 block of Stephens Road, a largely residential area, in Loganville. Mia Campos’ family had found her body in a wooded area off the side of the road using a cell phone tracking app, according to police.

The family said Campos left the house the night before with an unknown person. Campos’ death was ruled a homicide on Tuesday.
