As of the morning of March 1, three U.S. service members have been killed and five others seriously wounded during the operation against Iran, codenamed Epic Fury.
This was reported by U.S. Central Command.
The command also noted that several additional American troops sustained minor shrapnel wounds and concussions and are currently in the process of returning to duty.
“The situation remains unstable, and out of respect for the families, we will not release additional information, including the identities of our fallen service members, until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified,” U.S. Central Command added.
They also stated that combat operations are ongoing.
