5 victims, including 3-year-old daughter, identified in Bayou Blue house fire

A devastating house fire on Saturday, July 13, claimed the lives of five people and injured another one in Bayou Blue, just outside of Houma, according to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The fire was reported around 3:45 a.m. in the 300 block of Louise Lane. The Bayou Blue Volunteer Fire Department responded but was unable to prevent the significant loss of life.

The victims were identified by Parish Coroner Kayla Breaux on Saturday, July 20.

The deceased are Brennan Voisin, 21, his fiancé Savannah Tujague, 20, their 3-year-old daughter, Thea Tujague, Keaton Pepper, 22, and Georgiana Lapeyrousse, 16. Pepper and Lapeyrousse were visiting the home. A teenage girl, also a visitor, survived the fire and was hospitalized.
