Harry and Meghan change both their children’s names

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from royal duties and moved to California, Queen Elizabeth asked them not to use “Sussex Royal” since they were no longer working royals. They shifted their branding to “Archewell,” named after their son Archie.

Following King Charles’ coronation, Harry and Meghan officially changed Archie and Lilibet’s surnames to Sussex. Originally, Archie wasn’t given a royal title, but after Charles took the throne, both Archie and Lili became Prince and Princess, titles their parents chose for them.

Recently, Meghan corrected actress Mindy Kaling, emphasizing she now shares the Sussex surname with her children, calling it deeply meaningful for their family identity.

However, the change has drawn criticism. Some accuse the couple of hypocrisy, seeking distance from the royal family while maintaining royal ties. Others say they focus more on rebranding than achieving meaningful work.

Additionally, Harry and Meghan rebranded their website to Sussex.com, hoping to create a unified family brand.
