Erika Kirk interviews
The mom-of-two has given numerous interviews following the death of her husband, in which she has been very candid about the moment she found out Kirk had been shot.
Speaking about her grief, she said: “One day you’re collapsed on the floor crying out the name Jesus in between labored breaths.
“The next you’re playing with your children in the living room, surrounded by family photos, and feeling a rush of something you can only attempt to define as divinely planted and bittersweet joy as a smile breaks through on your face.”
Speaking about the brutal video that circulated of her husband’s violent death, she noted: “I never saw the video, I never will see it, I never want to see it.
“There’s certain things you see in your life that you can never unsee, there’s certain things you see that mark your soul forever, and I don’t want my husband’s public assassination to be something I ever see.”
The 37-year-old added: “I don’t want my kids to ever see that.
“And for the people who actually enjoy watching that, which is quite literally sick, what if that was your father? Or your brother, sister, there’s a perspective shift there.
“We’re human, life is fragile. And there is so much beauty in the world, why would you spend time looking at something so evil?”
Erika Kirk makes the headlines
Erika made a huge declaration following the shock death of her husband, announcing that his podcast, The Charlie Kirk Show, is here to stay.
“The Charlie Kirk Show is not going anywhere,” she announced. “My husband’s voice will live on. The show will go on. We will have rotating hosts, rotating casts, rotating people coming on.
“It is going to be continually the north star of the conservative movement, of the voice of the youth, of the voice of the base, and that will not end.”
Erika’s relationship with Vice President JD Vance has been questioned over the last two months, after the two shared an ‘inappropriate’ hug on stage at an event in Mississippi.
During that moment, Erika brought her hand up to Vance’s hair, and when they let go, Vance’s hand dropped to her hip.
Following the online rumors, Vance’s wife Usha was pictured without her wedding ring on numerous occasions.
But she was quick to quash rumors that there was an issue between her and the Vice President.

In the statement addressing why Usha hasn’t been wearing her ring, her rep said: “She’s a mother of three young children, who does a lot of dishes, gives lots of baths, and forgets her ring sometimes.”

The couple shared two children, a three-year-old girl and one-year-old boy.

In a recent interview with Megyn Kelly on SiriusXM’s The Megyn Kelly Channel, she pleaded with women not to ‘put it off.’
Erika said: “When I see young couples, I tell them please, don’t put it off. Especially if you’re a young woman.
“You can always have a career. You can always go back to work.
“You can never just go back to having children, and they grow so fast and so quickly.”
Erika Kirk’s heartbreaking confession
In the interview, Erika also made a devastating confession about extending their family, and the one wish she had when Kirk died.
